AeroCut is a barber booking and client management app operated by Aerojays Design LLC ("we," "us," "our"). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Who uses AeroCut
There are two kinds of people in AeroCut:
- Barbers — create an account and run their chair in the app.
- Clients — book an appointment through a barber's booking link. Clients do not create an account and are not required to install anything.
Information we collect
- Barber account: email address, shop name, display name, working hours, services and prices, and chair/booth details.
- Client booking: name and phone number, which service was booked, and the appointment date and time.
- Client records the barber adds: notes about a cut, a birthday, a rebooking interval, a music preference, and any photos the barber chooses to save.
- Missed calls the barber logs: the caller's phone number and an optional name.
We do not collect location data, contacts, advertising identifiers, or browsing activity, and AeroCut contains no third-party advertising or analytics trackers.
How we use information
- To show the barber their schedule and run the booking page.
- To prevent two clients from being booked into the same slot.
- To let a client view or cancel their own appointment from their confirmation link.
- To help the barber prepare reminder, rebooking and waitlist messages.
- To show the barber their own business totals, such as earnings for the day.
Text messages
AeroCut does not send text messages on its own. When a barber taps a reminder or waitlist button, AeroCut opens their phone's own messaging app with the message already written. The barber reviews it and presses send themselves, so the message comes from the barber's own phone number and carrier. Standard message and data rates may apply. Clients can ask their barber to stop texting them at any time.
How information is shared
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising. Information is stored with our hosting and database provider (Supabase) and served through our web host (Netlify), acting on our behalf so the app can function. We may disclose information if required by law.
A barber can only see data belonging to their own shop. Client records are not shared between shops.
Security
Data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections and protected by database-level access rules so that each shop's records are only reachable by that shop's account. A booking link only exposes a barber's services and open times — never their client list.
Data retention
We keep information for as long as the barber's account is active. Barbers may delete individual client records at any time from within the app.
Your choices and your rights
- Barbers: you can edit or delete your services, clients and appointments in the app, and you may request deletion of your account and all of its data by emailing us.
- Clients: you can cancel your own appointment using the link on your booking confirmation. To have your information removed, ask your barber or email us and we will pass the request to the shop that holds your record.
Children's privacy
AeroCut is intended for barbers and adult clients and is not directed to children under 13. A barber may record a child's first name and haircut notes as part of a family booking; that information is entered by the barber, and a parent or guardian may ask the barber or us to remove it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
Deleting your account
Barbers can request deletion of their account and all associated data at any time. Full instructions, and a list of exactly what is removed, are on the account deletion page.
